I just finished uploading ServiceTweaker to my server. This is a program to manage Windows services.

It can change the startup type of each service and it can also start or stop them.

I hope you find it useful, and as always, i will appreciate any feedback or comments about it.

Remember that you can use the contact form in the About page of this site to send me information about errors or bugs, or anything that you like to add.

I’m finishing some code cleanup before releasing this new application. I wrote it for myself, but as always, i will share my own programs here in my site.

Sorry for the lack of updates in the past 2 weeks but i have been doing other things and i couldn’t find the time to write to the site.

That is over now and will begin updating the site now with a few posts and tomorrow i will post more articles.

Hopefully tomorrow i can get back on track with all the posting as usual.

I have been busy the last few weeks. Among other things, i began to make my first test programs in the new Visual Studio 2008 Professional.

I will try to release a new version of VistaTweaker using XAML the first couple of weeks of january. This way i can take some approaches to multilanguage interface so everyone can use it in their own language.

I’m going out on for the holidays, but i wil keep the site updated.

The process of upgrading this site to the latest version of WordPress went as easy as it seemed.

It was my first time upgrading but i didn’t encounter any issues so far so i hope all is working the way it should.

Tomorrow i will post a quick How-to for people like me doing first-time upgrades using WordPress.

WordPress 2.3.1 has been released. Version 2.3.1 fixes over twenty bugs, including one security ulnerability. If you want to read the details, Peter Westwood, a developer from WordPress has made a post explaining all the internals.

I will be backing up (as i always do and recommend) this site’s files and databases so i can test version 2.3.1 locally before going online.

I will post when i finish upgrading this site along with any other details/notes on how the upgrade went as this is the first time i will make a WordPress upgrade to my site.

I have just released VistaTweaker 0.5 Beta. The file is already available for download in the download section of this site and i have made a version history page to track down changes and fixes.

If you find a bug, please report it to me so i can work on it as soon as i can to get it fixed.

A contact form is already available for you to send feedback, comments and suggestions.

I just managed to get the wordpress engine running along with the new theme.
Now the site will feature a blog engine and all is left behind is a forum but i’m working on it right now.

This way, the site can show post and news, photos, my software releases and people can leave comments and feedback.

I hope you like the change and find the new site useful and pleasant.
