Windows Vista Service Pack 2 RTM

April 29th, 2009 ajua No comments

Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 2 has been released to manufacturing (RTM).

While the date for the official release to the public is uncertain, there are already a number of leaked downloads you can get.

I already got the standalone installer but i haven’t had the time to try it yet. If you want to try it for yourself before the official release is made, WZor has many releases for download via BitTorrent files.

The slipstreamed disc are only avaiable in English and Russian at this site, but I’m sure more languages will follow. So stay tuned for more info on this.

Microsoft has plenty of information about the service pack 2. This article leads you to details about what has been fixed and improved. Make sure you read it.

I will let you know when I find sleapstreamed discs in other languages and when Microsoft officially releases SP2.

Windows Vista SP1 New Disc Images

February 15th, 2008 ajua No comments

As you may know by now, Microsoft has released Vista SP1 to Manufacturing and is scheduled to download via Windows Update later this month or the first half of next month.

Already, the stand-alone setup file is ready to download in many torrent sites.

For those of you that are not fully aware of this service pack, here is a small post that answers some basic questions about it. And this post answers a few more.

Today, i read in the Microsoft Technet Plus site that new refreshed images are being prepared and expected to be available to subscribers this weekend. This is great news because one big issue with the stand-alone installer is that it can’t be slipstreamed or integrated in already available media just like in XP and its Service Packs (at least not in an official or straightforward way).
