I just got my hands on this new version of Windows Live Messenger. It is not even a public beta.
At last, the interface presents some real changes. What i liked the most of what i saw on the installation i made is the conversation windows new layout. However, i’m experiencing some problems when trying to start video conversations.
Hopefully, Microsoft can release a public beta with new fixes and/or features soon for people to try it.
If you want, you can read more about it in this review from LiveSide. On this other site, you will find more screenshots.

There are many applications to create and manage virtual desktops in Windows.
With Sysinternals Desktops you will be using virtual desktops in no time.
This is the first version of this application, and the only bad thing about it is that it doesn’t have any close or exit button. You have to close it via Windows Task Manager. I guess this will be fixed in future versions.
It can startup with Windows so you can always have your different desktops at hand.

Free Download Manager is a freeware and open source download manager.
It allows you to download files and whole web sites from any remote server via HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. The latest versions also allow you to upload files, download flash object and can serve as a BitTorrent download manager.
Can be used as a portable application as well. The lite version lacks some functions (BitTorrent support, video conversion and upload manager) but can be downloaded as plugins later.
Free Download Manager 2.6.800 Beta is the latest version available.

While i as making repacks for some applications, i thought about sharing all my custom installers.
I do a lot of unattended installations, and by using my own custom installers i can install programs faster and with better results instead of sticking to the original setup files for every program because i have to use different switches, make scripts to arrange Start Menu icons, import registry files to customize program settings, and more.
All my installers (except those that are Switchless) are in MSI format, so you can install them silently with /qb /norestart switches.
In many cases, the application settings were customized to fit my needs, but the functionality remains intact so you can change their settings after you install them.
All shortcuts will be placed in Start Menu/Programs, and some of them that use more than one shortcut, will be inside a folder with the program’s name in the same path.
This way, you can use a script or CMD file to arrange them the way you want.
I uploaded 33 installers so far, and i will keep them updated everytime there is a new version of the program.
Enjoy them, and if you have questions, don’t hesitate to make a comment.
