Hi there Ajua….I have actually screwed up with Windows big time.
The Windows 7 32-bit DVD provided to me gave me activation errors upon install (it was a genuine Dell DVD that came with my laptop). Now Dell are offering me a Windows 7 64-bit DVD (you can imagine the consequent hassle).
For some reason unknown to me , the current switchless x64 version of iTunes you provide installs and does not start up. As in , I double click it , then it does appear for a while and no sooner than I say play , the screen goes all black and then refreshes back with the iTunes window missing. This didn’t happen with the older version you provided , although the setup is slightly different now.
I then took a look at a text file that I had made for a record of all my favorite programs the iTunes version written on it was 10.5.0.142. So I thought that this should work. Could you help me out by mailing the link or the file ?? I have a huge collection of about 1580 songs that is waiting to get into my iPod touch.

There are other utilities though. But I wish to convert this mammoth into AAC while syncing and iTunes does the best job at it.

Hi. I just looked through all my backups and previous versions. I have 10.4.1.10 and earlier versions, but somehow I didn’t keep the previous releases of the 10.5.x branch, only the latest one which is 10.5.2.11.
If you can find an installer for that version (64-bit, you have now an x64 Windows) I can modify it for you and send you a link to get it and see if it solves the problem you are having right now.

Just tried the latest uTorrent installers and they still don’t actually install the program. The program’s stock installer runs on first launch, basically rendering the msi useless.
I think they changed something in their switches. I will look into it and update the uTorrent when I find out what is causing the install dialog to appear when you launch it.

The comments date and time are being displayed as expected. There was a problem with a WordPress function, but I just fixed it.
Once again, I’ve converted your iTunes installers to ENGLISH ONLY and made them available for your users. The only changes I have made from your installers is the removeal of ALL non-English (US) languages and the removal of MobileDevice support – everything else is the same.
These English ONLY installers will reduce the installed size by nearly 50% in space and almost 90% in the number of files.

I have tested both installers in Windows 7 (64-bit) and Windows XP (32-bit) with no problems.
can’t run iTunes 10.5.3.3 . What happens is that the windows installer gives the following response : ” The older version of Bonjour can’t be removed …” When i proceed further this message appears : ” … A program required for this install to complete could not be run … ” The first time i installed iTunes older version without any problem . Please note that i use windows XP .
Hi. Did you tried the steps in the troubleshooting section?
Try uninstalling anything from Apple you find in Add/remove programs in Control Panel first. You may have corrupted leftover entries or previous versions installed which are preventing the new installations. Please use the Microsoft tool linked there if you can’t find any entry and try again.
