I am running Windows 7 x86.
Even if I do not pin it to Taskbar and skype is on, it still remains expanded.
Why would they do that all of a sudden?

@Mikhail It does not disappear. At least in Windows 7 x64. They need to add support for Windows 7 Super Bar so people can ditch the tray icon and pin it there, or choose not to pin it and use the try icon instead.

Hi. It’s a front-end for Mplayer, but I don’t know if it implements all its features.
There is no need to install Mplayer separately.

I install it as a backup player in my installation and so far it plays everything, including AVC (H.264) content without problems.

I’m considering Media Player Classic HomeCinema as a replacement (backup) for SMPlayer but there is no harm in installing both until I decide.

Is SMPlayer a front-end for Mplayer or a standalone player with all built-in codec?
Does smplayer require mplayer to be installed?

SMplayer is 8megs
Mplayer Full is 26 megs.
Is smplayer a watered down player?
