Vista Codec Package installs everything you need in order to play all audio and video formats.

It doesn’t come with a media player, so you can use Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center or whatever you like. All codecs are set to default settings.

You can install it on Windows XP. For support, there is a forum section for it at MSFN.
