LameXP is a free audio converter which uses the famous LAME MP3 Encoder.

Supports multi-threading encoding, which means that it can convert two files at once, saving you some time if you have a CPU with 2 or more cores.

For MP4/AAC encoding support you need to download the free Nero Digital Audio Encoder. Just download it and copy the EXE files to LameXP folder.

LameXP 3.02 has the following changes:

• Added an option to disable all sounds in LameXP
• Added warning message for bitrates that violate the current bitrate restriction
• Fixed bitrate restrictions for LAME encoder (strictly enforce bitrate restrictions using “-F” parameter)
• Fixed file associations code (set file associations only for the current user)
• Updated load/save configuration code (store settings in an INI file instead of the registry)
