Deluge, a multiplatform open source BitTorrent client is almost reaching version 1.0 final.

Meanwhile, Deluge 0.9.0.3 or version 1.0.0 RC3 (i hate this mixed naming) is available for download.

I just came across this tool when doing some reading on jailbreaking the iPhone 3G in Mac OS X.

WinPwn is supposed to unlock the iPhone 3G in Windos, so you can use it with any carrier or service provider. I don’t have an iPhone so i haven’t try it.

This tool is made with resources of iPhone Dev Team, the guys who unlocked the iPhone 3G in Mac OS X. This guys have a blog. You may want to read it.

Here are Realtek HD Audio Drivers 1.99.

The readme file states that only customizations were made to this version.

If you ever get any problems when updating drivers you can use Driver Sweeper after you have uninstalled you current drivers to clean your system for left over files. After that, reboot your computer and install the new ones. This will reduce the chance of having driver issues.

ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application.

This new versions has several bug fixes and the list is too long to post it here.

I use it for burning disc images and sometimes i build some with it.

It has several modes, each one for performing a different task:

• Read - Read a disc to an image file.
• Build - Create an image file from files on your computer or network - or you can write the files directly to a disc.
• Write - Write an image file to a disc.
• Verify - Check a disc is 100% readable. Optionally, you can also have ImgBurn compare it against a given image file to ensure the actual data is correct.

Filezilla authors have been busy the last couple of weeks because they have released two or three new versions.

The good thing is that they are fixing existing bugs fast in this open source FTP client.

Filezilla 3.1.0 latest changes:

• Fix oddities in visual formatting of IPv6 addresses
• MSW: Enable IPv6 support on SFTP connections
• Connecting using an IPv6 address did not work on SFTP
• Editing remote files did not pick up local changes if timestamp preserving was enabled

Sysinternals has updated Autoruns to version 9.31.

This is an excellent tool for disabling startup programs and to see all the things that Windows loads when it starts up.

PhotoScape is by far the most feature-rich free application when it comes to doing work with images, except for Paint.NET which is a professional-grade free editor.

The interface can be better because it feels a little disorganized but in the end, it is a great program for working with images.

Being free adds more value to it.

Vista Codec Package was updated. This awesome codec pack has now the latest versions of AC3Filter and FFDshow.

It doesn’t come with a media player, so you can use Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center or whatever you like. All codecs are set to default settings.
