LameXP is a free audio converter which uses the famous LAME MP3 Encoder.

It supports Wave, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC/MP4, FLAC, WavPack, Musepack, Speex and APE as input formats and can convert them to MP3, Ogg Vorbis and AAC/MP4.

This program even supports multi-threading encoding, which means that it can convert two files at once, saving you some time if you have a CPU with 2 or more cores.

For MP4/AAC encoding support you need to download the free Nero Digital Audio Encoder. Just download it and copy the EXE files inside the LameXP folder.

It is portable because it doesn’t require any installation.
