   This is the first time I’m using Avira
   Before that, I’m using Kaspersky 6, 7 before license key get blacklist and version 8 for 1 month trial
   They are great !!

   The free version of Avira is the best among free antivirus.

   However, i prefer to pay for Kaspersky Internet Security. As you said, its great. The v8 is awesome.

   Is better to pay a subscription for an Anti-Virus or Internet Security suite.

   My recommendation is Kaspersky Internet Security.

   Avira or AVG are both good choices for free Anti-Virus, but keep in mind that free options sometimes lacks the accuracy at detection of thei paid counterparts.

   Thanks for the links.

   Just remember than many of those tests are conducted using default settings.

   I prefer all the information Kaspersky Internet Security shows about everything on your computer.

   One that i thought was strong and resulted very weak in my experience is NOD32.

   For free, AntiVir, for paid Kaspersky. Just my opinion.
