Yes. If you want to disable UAC globally, go to "Control Panel" then "User Accounts" then again "User Accounts" then "Turn User Account Control" and set it to Off, then restart your computer." I don't use it anymore since i got Vista. If a program lock a file or folder, it is likely that explorer.exe process is doing it. Shutting it down and open it again unlocks the files/folders for me. Now I got a new computer with Vista Home and Mozilla Firefox and I can't get it to work. Usually when you right click it's there but now it's not. It's down in the right hand corner but it does nothing. Please help I can't find any where on their site where to ask the question. Many thanks.
